Where are you located?

I am located in Dallas, Texas and I work with clients in the greater DFW area, in my home state of Massachusetts, and throughout New England. For pricing and logistics regarding destination weddings, please email me at info@monikanormandphoto.com, and we can chat!

How can we get in touch?

The best way to reach me is via email. I am usually very prompt in responding to email and will most likely respond to your inquiry within the same day. But, please allow up to 24-48 hours for email reply just in case. My direct email is info@monikanormandphoto.com.

How do we receive our photos?

I will provide you with an online digital gallery of professionally edited images for you to view and download. You will have access to this private gallery link for 6 months following the date of your session. Please be sure to download all files within that time frame.

Do you offer mini sessions, sales or discounts?

Yes! I offer seasonal mini sessions and occasionally run discounts on weddings and portrait sessions throughout the year. If you’d like to join the mailing list and stay up to date with seasonal sales- please send me an email here: info@monikanormandphoto.com

Where do you shoot?

I primarily shoot on-location and outdoors. I love natural light and prefer to shoot outdoors, but am happy to do an in-home session for clients who prefer a more intimate setting. I also cater to businesses who wish to have professional head shots taken on site and for those who take advantage of our Business Marketing package. I can provide lighting equipment, backdrops and props for indoor sessions if needed. Some of my favorite locations to shoot are below, but I always love new locations and am open to your suggestions!

  • Quabbin Reservoir, Belchertown MA
  • Look Park, Northampton MA
  • Forest Park, Springfield MA
  • Wachusett Reservoir, West Boylston MA
  • Tower Hill Botanical Garden, Boylston MA
  • Downtown Northampton, MA
  • Downtown Amherst, MA
  • UMass Amherst Campus
  • Cold Spring Orchard, Belchertown MA
  • Downtown Dallas TX
  • Trinity Park, Fort Worth TX

What time of day do you shoot?

For the best lighting possible, morning and evening shoots are favorable when it comes to outdoor sessions. I typically shoot in mornings 9:00am – 11:00am or evenings from 3:00pm- 7:00pm (depending on time of year). More flexibility in timing is permitted when we are shooting inside.

Is there a retainer fee for portrait sessions?

Yes, for portrait sessions, the retainer fee is $100 and is required to book your appointment date. This will go towards your final payment (due upon start of the session) and is non-refundable.

What is your policy on rescheduling?

If something unavoidable arises, I will find a time in the very near future that works for both parties. If you must cancel completely, please remember session retainer fees are non-refundable. I will reach out to you one week prior to your session to be sure that we reconfirm date, time, and location. In case of inclement weather (heavy rain/wind/snow), all efforts will be made to re-schedule your appointment as soon as possible.

How long does it take to receive my images?

Please allow one to two weeks to receive your portrait session gallery.

How do you accept payment?

I am happy to accept either cash or check for payment. All checks are made payable to Monika Normand. Payment is due upon my arrival at our scheduled session time.
